First rule of writing
First three rules of writing are practice, practice, and practice some more.

For best practice, I recommend a daily journal because not only does it offer practice at writing, it also teaches self awarenss AND every once and awhile you have recorded something important that you need to reference AND every once and awhile you can almost relive an experience in your life you have completely forgotten about over the passage of time. (It does not help much in preventing run on sentences though.)

Another great place to practice is at forums, specailly (a spell checker is a handy tool to have with your test editor) those that welcome budding writers with a board of their own. Forums are great because your audience will give immediate feedback from which you can quickly determine how well your message got across. (No feedback is also information you can use.)

Quiz:
1. What are the 3 rules of writing?
2. What is the greatest way to practice?
3. What is another great place to practice?
